I Think I Can, I Think I Can

Today was a wonderful day!! We had lots of family time and we are all worn out!! Landon took a 5 hour nap!! CRAZY!! We went to our fav pizza place, Mazzios. OMG, it was amazing!!! I am going to miss pizza while David is gone!! After lunch we went to Wal-Mart to pick up some last minute stuff for David to pack and a pool for the kids. We have been struggling to get Landon anywhere near water that is not the bathtub. It is the craziest thing! We have tried everything!! Here are a few pictures from our afternoon.

We tried and tried to talk Landon to get in the pool. No Luck!! I even stood in the pool and held him. He hung on for dear life!! The two of us went and sat back down by daddy. Landon then saw Tyler playing with a ball and he jumped down. He thought it was fun to throw the ball to Tyler. Then this happened....

He put his hands in the water and started splashing around!
(Bad Lighting!! OOPS!!)

After a few minutes of splashing around......

he thought he would let his toes in on the action!

His toes really enjoyed the water, so..............

he jumped in!!

Whew, talk about baby steps!

We officially have a water baby, I mean toddler!!!

On to other news, David did get a date today!! Obviously I cannot tell the date on the Internet!! We have to consider the safety of David and his troops. But I will be sure to let everyone know that he made it there safely!! We hope everyone has a great weekend!! We are off to the 20th anniversary of the B-2 Bomber tomorrow. The base is having an air show. Not sure how long we will last! They open it up to the public and the crowds are unreal. At least they were at Hill!! HHHHMMM, watching the planes from our backyard is starting to sound like a better plan!!

  2. Lacey loved the pool last year but all she has done so far is sit on the side or steps but she would finally get in and ride on the float with me.

I know yall are glad to have the date but dread it. Please keep posting and we will pray for him on his voyage there. We love yall and miss yall.

  3. That is so cute...I am glad he got his toes wet FINALLY! LOL! I miss the air shows...we lived right on the corner on base and everyone would call to see if they could "use" our driveway to park because it was close to the flight line area.
