Chicken Spaghetti

Please excuse all of the weird spacing.  I was working with The Mrs. to get the link working properly and now I have so much space between the top of the post and the picture!  Who knows!!

The Mrs. is hosting a recipe blog hop!!  If you are like me, you are always looking for a new recipe.  I am going to share two of my go-to recipes!!  Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures.  Food doesn't last long in this house to get pictures!!  I hope you enjoy them!!

Chicken Spaghetti

1 Whole Chicken
2 cans of rotel
2 cans of cream of mushroom
Spaghetti Noodles
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Boil chicken and spaghetti noodles.  After the chicken is boiled, then shred it and throw in a casserole dish with the cooked spaghetti noodles.  Mix in rotel and cream of mushroom.  After the first 4 ingredients have been mixed together, then top with shredded cheese.  Cover with aluminum foil.  Place in oven at 350 for about 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.

This recipe always tastes better the next day.  You can also use canned chicken.  Enjoy!!!

My Little Fish

Yesterday was Tyler's last day of swim lessons! I cannot believe how far she came in just two weeks!! I am so proud of her!!! The picture below is not that great. The sun was so bright that she was squinting. But I had to get a pic on the last day of class.
This picture is Tyler's swimming class and one of their instructors. The instructor in the picture was amazing with the kids. For a college age guy, I was very impressed. He was patient but firm with the kids. He should be a teacher!!

I am enjoying getting the recipes from this post. Keep the recipes coming!! I thought of a great prize for the recipe that my kids fall in love with the most!! I will give you a hint, it is something that Kansas City is known for!!

Last night, I made this dish that I found on Cookbook Jungle (I love the name and I loved Lipstick Jungle, I miss that show!).
I am sure this isn't how they are supposed to look. My food never turns out pretty. Anywho, it is called Biscuit BBQ cups. Tyler gave it 2 Thumbs Up. Landon couldn't sit down long enough to eat. I devoured this little pieces of heaven! And the recipe is so easy!! I am all about easy meals. I was a little worried how they would taste after being reheated, they were GREAT!! Caroline, THANK YOU!! This will be a meal that we cook again. I sent David this picture and he said, yummy, looks like sloppy joes. I let him know very quickly that it tastes way better than sloppy joes and i would know because I am not a fan!!

Tomorrow we are off to go shopping with Allison and Jenna. I am so excited to get away from this base!! Have a great weekend!!

HELP!!

Ok, so here is the deal! I have been slacking on cooking lately!! The kids are hit and miss lately! They could eat mac and cheese or a frozen pizza every night and be happy!! When they do this, I do not eat! So here is where I need your help! I need your fav, kid friendly recipes! But I cannot make it that easy on you, the recipes cannot contain eggs or peanuts! Poor Landon and his allergies!. Also, we think he is allergic to fish so that is a big no too! I am also thinking about a little prize for my fav recipe! I am not sure yet what the prize will be. This would be a first for me. So send ideas for a prize also! Can't wait to try out those yummy recipes!

These recipes can also be fun snacks that you can make with the kiddos. We love making fun snacks together. You can post your recipe in the comments or post on your blog and leave the link in your comment!! HHHMMM, my mouth is watering in anticipation.
