Check It Out

I wrote a guest post for Mrs. GI Joe.  You can check it out here.  It has been a post that I have wanted to write for a long time, but for some reason I always held back.  When Mrs. GI Joe asked me to write a guest post, I knew that it was the time to tell my husband's story.  I am so proud of him!

  1. Wow, Ashley,, I just went and read the post. I had no idea that's what his job was. I'm sure he has and will continue to be a blessing to so many people.

  2. I loved reading your post over at Mrs. G.I. Joe's. It reminds us as military spouses that no matter what your husband's duty is in his branch of service, it is about supporting him to do his best and do his job with honor and integrity! Great post!

  3. Ashley, I know David is the perfect person for this job...I have spent many years in fear of men walking up to the house having had 2 husbands in the military, one during Vietnam. Now I believe is the worst time, having a son in. If it was to happen, I would hope someone as caring and dedicated as David would be the one I would have to communicate with. No one wants to think abt this particular job but it takes a certain dedication to do it....very gd post

  6. That was such a great post!! I'm visiting your blog via Mrs. GI Joe's blog. =) I was just reading and noticed that I was born in the SAME place your daughter was! Just a few years earlier, though. =) My father was in the AF and was stationed in England for a few years. I've never been back, but I've ALWAYS wanted to.
