Back To School Fashion

Well it is about that time, Back to School.  I love back to school shopping.  It is my favorite time of the year.  However, this year will be a bit more of a challenge.  Why?  Because I have to shop for me too!  I have a few nice things in the closet.  But I am student teaching this fall and that means 5 nice outfits a week.  UGH!  I am not a big fan of shopping for myself.  I have gained wait this past year and that never making shopping fun.

I have been browsing some of my favorite stores and trying to get inspiration.  Everything is tight, low cut, or too short!  Here are a few things that I have found and I like.

Old Navy
I love this.  I can wear short sleeves under it and long sleeves when Fall gets here.  It would also be comfortable!

Old Navy
I would have to wear a tank top under this shirt, but it is cute and comfy.

Kohls
Super Cute!

Francesca's

I need a couple of cute dresses for Meet The Teacher Night and a few other functions that I will need to dress nice for.  And then there are the shoes.  Comfy and cute shoes are a hard combo to find.

So this is where I am asking for your help.  Are you a teacher or have a job where you are on your feet all day long.  Where do you find cute, trendy, but not showing anything that should not be showing!  What are some comfy shoes that you cannot live without?  HELP!!!  Please keep in mind we are on one income so I am looking for cheap to moderate priced clothes.  Thanks in advance!

  1. I have that grey old navy top. It's not that low cut on me. It's cute and stretchy too. :)

For shoes, I'd go to the clarks outlet - they are comfy. When I taught, I could never stand to wear uncomfortable shoes all day. I barely ever sat down and I just would much rather be comfortable.

If you come shopping here and want a shopping buddy, let me know! I have a gap outlet coupon for 20% off I think.

  2. Those are all cute finds! Just don't wear any wooden teacher jewelry okay? LOL! I also like the Gap and you can find coupon codes or Express. I am a horrible shopper too so I am no good!

  4. When I was teaching I would shop Ann Taylor Loft a lot...you can get great items on the clearance racks. Kohls often has stuff that works too. As for shoes, my school allowed me to wear flip flops in nice weather...and in the colder months I often wore heels...They were comfy for me:) Hope you find outfits that work for you! And maybe your school will have dress down Friday...I loved being able to wear jeans on Fridays!
