I really do not have much to blog about today! We had a fun and bad weekend all rolled into one! Saturday we met up with one of my childhood friends, Allison, at our favorite shopping spot, Legends! We have been wanting to meet up so our kids could meet. Tyler had the best time playing with their daughter, Jenna. And bless John Michael's heart, he kept the kids entertained so the mommas could shop! THANK YOU!!!! He also took some great pictures. Check out Allison's blog to see the pictures. Landon screamed almost the entire trip (over an hour) to Legends. I was about to loose my mind. We left the base pretty early because I wanted to stop at Target and finish up Tyler's school supplies and look around. I miss Target!! When we get to Target, I discover that Landon's clothes are soaked! He spilled his drink all over him! NICE! Did I have extra clothes, NOPE!! At least Target has cute clothes. I am not even going to discuss our little shopping trip at Target. I got the sympathy nods from parents and the OMG looks for people you know do not have kids! I wanted to cry. And to top it off, I bought the kids a snack at Target to eat and Landon bites off part of his fork and eats it!! I am in officially PANIC MODE!
We get to Legends and the kids play in the fountains while we wait for Allison. They had blast and it was the happiest Landon was all day. Who cares if they got soaking wet!! Landon was now happy and we got some AWESOME deals at the Gap Outlet! It was so much fun getting to see Allison again. We had not seen each other since we were sophomores in High School. I moved to another school my Junior Year. Allison's mom was my 2nd grade teacher and we were in Brownies together. Wow, that seems so long ago considering Tyler will be in 2nd grade next year!
I would love to tell you that the weekend got better, but I am not going to lie! Instead I want to brighten up this post with a great offer. ReplyDeleteI know how stressful screaming car rides can be. Eve would get terribly carsick as a baby, subsequently, car rides were absolute torture. I am sorry you had to go through that.
