UPDATE: David called me around 3:30. It was a one minute convo due to he was calling on his cell phone. He isn't at his base yet and said they still have a long drive. He has had no sleep in the past 24 hours so he is running on fumes. He was in a rush, they were either getting on a bus or getting off a bus. I just heard some guy yelling in the background. AAAHHH, the life of the military! That pretty much sums up what I found out. It was so quick, I can't remmeber if we exchanged I love yous!!
OMG!!!! OMG!!!! Ok, if you know me then you know that I am one of those girls that gets all excited! David loves that about me so that is all that matters! Anyways, he called me last night after he got to the airport in Maine. I hear him talking to some guy but could not make out the conversation. David gets back on the phone and says that there is a group that meets the troops when they arrive. They also take their pictures and post them on their website for the troops families and friends. As I am talking to David, I am googling their website. I bookmarked the site and checked it as soon as I woke up this morning! OMG, tears came to my eyes!! Here are the pics!! Thank you, http://www.mainetroopgreeters.com/.

Can you guess who he is on the phone with in this picture?
Enjoying his last one for a long time!
I love you, David!!
I have a feeling that today will be a harder day for me. It sunk in last night that David is gone. He called me before he boarded the plane last night and we said our goodbyes not knowing when we would get to talk again. He said he would try to get to a computer and let me know that he made it to the base safely. I started to choke up right before we said our goodbyes and may or may not have hung up on him in the middle of his goodbye. Babe, I am sorry!
