Ditto

I remember BEGGING my mom to let me watch Dirty Dancing!  The answer was always NO!!  When I reached that age of maturity and got to watch it for the first time, I was in LOVE!!!  Ghost was also one of the first movies that David and I bought on dvd.  We watched that movie so many times when we lived in England without cable.  Patrick Swayze is a role model for Hollywood actors.  He stayed out of the lime light and worshiped the ground that his wife, of 30+ years, walked on.  He was a  true gentleman.  Patrick Swayze, you will truly be missed!!  Thank you for your movies!

  1. Oh yes, I remember when Dirty Dancing was "not for kids". And that made me want to see it even more! It seemed like everyone else got to watch it. Except us =)

He seemed like a good man. It's a shame he passed away so young.

  2. I can't believe he's gone...I definitely thought he would have more time. He is a legacy and a great role model...

  5. I'm pretty sure I was 9 or 10 when I saw Dirty Dancing and one of my friends came over to watch with my mom and me (her mom knew, but we were not allowed to tell her dad) and I have been in love ever since. The Barbara Walters special was so good last night, but did make me cry like a baby. It is really sad that such wonderful people die too soon (my dad included).

  6. Haha, I didn't get to see it either when it was first out. I don't think I was able to see it until I was 10 or 11! Dirty dancing will never be the same!
